After a prolonged break for the holidays and waiting patiently on parts from overseas (Motone seat & Hagon rear shocks), we still had plenty to sort away on the bike in the meantime.

Painter extraordinaire, Dale Utterback had worked his magic on the front and rear fenders matching the original “Goodwood Green”, and then went all out to give the front fairing its final flair. The gauge cluster received a fresh coat of clear alongside the side

panels.

Robbie and I worked on a simple solution to remedy the clip-ons and switchgear from contacting the tank at full lock. We utilized the original “stop” tabs found on the lower triple tree and mocked out a bolt and washer combo to get the desired leverage and stops in place. the near future…

I had Roberto (@robertocapoccia) and Tyler (@theduneflowers) come by to help with a final nip and tuck before assembly with the freshly painted bits. After approval from Roberto of the newly fitted steering stops, we installed the new Motone seat and Hagon rear shocks to wrap up.

Robbie plopped on a vintage Bell MAG4 helmet he had stashed away, waiting for this moment. The build had reached its preliminary ending before road testing.

Boy, does she look tantalizing…
